Esthermarie Cheyo — Co-Founder

Esthermarie Cheyo is an architect, construction leader, and the co-founder of The One Good Deed Foundation. As Managing Director of Level 8 Studios, a female-led design-build firm based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Esthermarie delivers integrated healthcare, institutional, and residential infrastructure across East Africa. Her firm has completed ICU ward renovations at Muhimbili National Hospital; Tanzania's largest national referral hospital and delivered the refurbishment of the Makuti VIP Hospital Clinic, demonstrating that women-led businesses can operate at the highest levels of a male-dominated industry. Esthermarie also leads Atlas Plumbers and Builders Ltd, a family-owned construction contracting company with capabilities spanning building, civil works, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines. Through The One Good Deed Foundation, Esthermarie channels her construction expertise into projects that leave lasting physical infrastructure in the communities that need it most, from hospital wards to housing for displaced children. Born and raised in Tanzania, she is deeply committed to improving healthcare access and empowering women across the African continent. Esthermarie's vision for the Foundation is rooted in the belief that real change is built, not just spoken about.
